Natural Surfaces Hardener Sealer

For Honed Limestone, Honed Travertine, and Santa Ana Terracotta. This product is spirit based. It is used for sealing Limestone and Travertine in domestic and commercial situations. In the case of terracotta, it is used in heavily foot-trafficked areas (Pubs, Restaurants, Shops etc) instead of Beeswax.

Limestone and Travertine Pour the Hardener into a container and not directly to the tiles. Apply one coat of Hardener with a 4" Paintbrush. Apply to 3 to 4 tiles at a time. Wipe over with a clean cloth to eliminate brush marks. Repeat proceedure for the rest of the floor. Allow 3 to 4 hours to dry out in summer, and longer in winter, before grouting can commence. The following day, apply a second coat of Hardener, again 3 to 4 tiles at a time. Wipe over to eliminate brush marks. The next day apply Beeswax Polish. Do not apply when temperatures are below 5 degrees centigrade.

Terracotta Used after the second coat of Brown Sealer or Boiled Linseed Oil . Pour the Hardener into a container and not directly to the tiles. Apply one coat of Hardener with a 4" Paintbrush, sparingly. Apply to 3 to 4 tiles at a time. Wipe over with clean cloths to eliminate brush marks and soak up excess Hardener. Repeat proceedure for the rest of the floor. Allow 3 to 4 hours to dry in summer and longer in winter. Apply Beeswax the following day. Do not apply when temperatures are below 5 degrees centigrade.

Avoid contact with the skin, wear gloves. Keep out of reach of children. Flammable. Leave used cloths outside to avoid self combustion.
